Frequently Asked Questions
How can I contact you?
Can you help me with my case even though I don’t live in Brockton?
Yes. For immigration clients, I am licensed to practice all over the United States, and I have helped immigration clients in states outside of Massachusetts. However, because I am only licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, I am only able to handle non-immigration cases for clients in Massachusetts, which I do all over the state.
Do you take consultations?
Yes. You may schedule a consultation with me by calling (508) 942-7497 or sending me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I charge $60 for an immigration consultation with me. If you hire me to handle your case, this will be applied as a credit towards legal services if used within three (3) months. I also offer two (2) kinds of business consultations. All consultation fees must be paid in full at the time you schedule an appointment in order to reserve that time on my calendar.
How much do you charge for your immigration services?
Each case is different and the cost of legal services depends on the amount of work and time that is required.
Do you charge by the hour or do you have flat fees?
I charge flat fees for the majority of my cases so that my clients know what the total charge will be. I also offer flexible payment options.
Do you accept cash?
Yes. I also accept checks and credit cards. All clients are sent an invoice, which may be paid electronically for your convenience, as well as a receipt for record keeping.
If I hire you, will you win my case?
I will always do my best to get the outcome you want, but I cannot and do not guarantee any specific results for any of my cases.
Will my case take a long time?
Each case is different. Some cases take only a few months, but some cases can take over a year. I will always keep track of your case to make sure I am doing everything I can to make sure it is handled as quickly as possible.
Do you handle any other cases besides immigration and business law?
Sometimes. I occasionally handle domestic violence cases probono. I also handle various legal matters related to family law and estate planning for existing clients.
What other languages do you speak?
I am fluent in Haitian Creole. I can provide interpreters who speak Cape Verdien Creole, Spanish, or Portuguese if needed. You may also use your own interpreter.
When can I schedule an appointment with you?
You can schedule an appointment with me anytime. You can call me at (508) 942-7497 or send me an email at email@example.com.
Do you take appointments on the weekend?
Yes! I take appointments on Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.
